Dental Career Exploration Programs

Meets One Evening Each Month (generally the first Wednesday) from November through May
High school students interested in the field of dentistry meet monthly in the evening for a short lecture presentation followed by a "hands-on" laboratory with current dental students assisting. Changing monthly topics include orthodontics, dental anatomy, oral surgery, dental implants, and restorative dentistry.

DIVE INTO DENTISTRY PROGRAM

Friday & Saturday, June 2 & 3, 2017

Experience life as a dental student and discover dentistry by acquiring hands-on experience in crown preparation, diagnostic impressions, cast fabrication, diagnostic wax-up and anterior restoration. Exercises and laboratory procedures directed by current faculty & students. A $75 nonrefundable deposit will hold your spot, with the remaining $75 due by May 26. Limit to 50 participants.

OBSERVATIONS IN THE SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY

Interested individuals may observe or assist in the dental clinics at the School of Dentistry during the academic year. These visits are coordinated through Tammy Stange, School of Dentistry Clinic Administration, at (503) 494-4817.
