Thoughtful Inclusion of People with Disabilities in Dissemination Practices 

OODH collaborated with colleagues at Comagine Health to create resources for social media users to be more accessible and inclusive in posting practices. The goal is for all facilitators, leaders, and coaches of health education programs to have the knowledge and skills to deliver messages online accessibly.   

Training materials cover these topics:   

• The importance of accessibility and inclusiveness 

• The need for inclusive practices in social media posting 

• Access barriers faced by social media users with disabilities 

• Methods to address access barriers  

• Recommendations from the best practice guide
