Library Space Reconfiguration

The OHSU Library at the BICC is planning to upgrade the computer areas on the 3rd and 4th floors during the 2015 winter break, from December 18th until January 3rd. The current cubicles will be removed and new computer tables with open seating will be installed allowing for greater collaboration and improved electrical and data connections. The library has recently purchased a subscription to the clinical diagnostic support tool, VisualDx. New Library Hours!

After collecting and analyzing usage data, we have decided to change the library hours, effective Monday, August 4th. The new hours will  be Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 12-8pm. Our statistics indicate that very few library users are here after 6pm, and the vast majority of those that are in the building are using the After-Hours Study Space. VDI Pilot Project Survey-Your Feedback is Needed!

The OHSU Library is piloting a thin client solution from ITG which we hope may someday replace our floor computers available for use by OHSU staff/students and faculty. These terminals all run a modified version of the OHSU Windows 7 build.
