There are many health disparities between people in traditionally underserved racial and ethnic groups (including African Americans, American Indians and Alaska Natives, Asians, and Latinos) and non-Hispanic Whites.These disparities may be even greater among people who also have disabilities.Project Intersect: Addressing Health Disparities at the Intersection of Race, Ethnicity, and Disability is studying how disability in combination with race and ethnicity relates to health, access to health care, and health promotion opportunities.
