eIRB Registration

This article provides instructions for registering with the electronic Institutional Review Board (eIRB)

• OHSU Employee
• Non-OHSU Employee

OHSU Employee

1. Open your internet browser (i. e. Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, etc...)
2. Into the address bar please enter https://irb.ohsu.edu/irb/
3. Press on the 'Enter' key on the keyboard.
4. Click on 'Register here' link in the upper right corner of the page under 'User Account' section.
5. Fill out the registration form with your current Employee ID, first and last name as they appear in the HR records, your preferred username (whereby it is recommended to use the first part of your OHSU e-mail address), and your valid OHSU e-mail address (e.g. johndoe@ohsu.edu).
6. Click on the 'Register' button in the lower portion of the page.

Shortly after submitting the registration form you will receive an e-mail containing your username and temporary password which you can use to login.

Non-OHSU Employee

1. Open you internet browser (i. e. Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, etc...).
2. Into the address bar please enter https://irb.ohsu.edu/irb/.
3. Press on the 'Enter' key on the keyboard.
4. Click on 'Register here' link in the upper right corner of the page under 'User Account' section.
