Biography
Dr. Rueda received his medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, in 1991. He completed residency in internal medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University, in St. Louis, MO. He completed a fellowship at the same institute in June 2000, where he performed research in kidney transplantation. He worked in a private practice setting until joining the faculty at OHSU in August 2004. His special interests include hypertension, chronic kidney disease, peritoneal dialysis, kidney stones and kidney transplantation. Dr. Rueda is fluent in Spanish. He is accepting new patients with difficult-to-treat hypertension and kidney disease.
