Biography
Dr. Nardos has a special interest in caring for women with pelvic floor dysfunction, extending care globally in developing countries and treating and preventing obstetric fistula. Her research interests include imaging modalities to understand the patholophysiology of overactive bladder and evaluating the effect of vaginal delivery on the pelvic floor. The International Museum of Women named our program's founder, Dr. Rahel Nardos, a global health hero. This honor recognizes her extraordinary work training Ethiopian doctors and midwives in life-saving obstetric procedures and preventative maternal health. Dr. Nardos participates in the OHSU Center for Women's Health Global Collaboration in Ethiopia which provides medical training and service in Gimbie, Ethiopia.
