Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Ratings and reviews

The patient ratings score is an average of all responses to the question "How likely would you be to recommend this provider to your family and friends (on a scale of 0 to 10)" on our nationally-recognized Press Ganey patient surveys.

  1. Felt thorough, felt heard, cared for

  2. De. D and the medical student listened well, and gave me much time. I never felt rushed. I've been seeing Dr. Dfor years and am very grateful to have such a thoughtful physician.

  3. I did have to wait just over 20 minutes for the clinician to arrive. The only struggle with that was not knowing if she would be arriving/what the reason was. If there was a way to know that, it would have been fine. Once she arrived, she let me know the reason she was delayed which made a lot of sense. The actual care from Dr. D was incredible. Though it was a short appointment, I felt heard, respected, and cared for. I was so afraid that my experience wouldn't be believed, as I have had a similar experience with this same issue years ago in another state. However, there was not even a question of the issue around would I be given care - her response and action plan was simple, straightforward, and easily understandable. Even after that short interaction, I trust her and would not hesitate to see her again.

  4. Very thorough

  5. I have been seeing Dr. D. For a while, and I appreciate that she generally has students (from Medical Students to Interns to Residents.) She is an excellent provider and a very good teacher.

  6. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient.

  7. Professional, respectful, listened,friendly

  8. Good

  9. Got a quick diagnosis with regertal

  10. The doctor was wonderful

  11. She is fairly cut and dry, not very conversational, just a lot of yes or no questions as though she was completing a checklist. It felt like she had not reviewed my reason for appointment or my chart.

  12. This provider is an outstanding example of what a caring professional should be. She actually reviews my chart prior to the visit, asks pertinent questions, listens to my responses, and discusses potential diagnoses and treatment, including me in the decision making.

  13. I have had Dr. D as my primary for many years now, and am so grateful for her personal, and at the same time, professional care.

  14. Has been my primary care and my mother's before

  15. Excellent as always.. Always takes the time ti listetn and then evaluate the best steps moving forward.

  16. I am a returning patient & and so glad she was available to see me!
