Biography
Dr. Crawford is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who was recruited to the Department of Orthopaedics as the Surgical Director of Sports Medicine in 2002. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder; cartilage and ligamentous injuries (E.g. Anterior Cruciate or ACL); instability of the knee and shoulder and cartilage replacement, restoration and transplantation. His specific clinical interests include: sports injuries of the knee and shoulders in adults and adolescents; dislocations and instability of the shoulder and knee. Dr. Crawford is an active member of the International Cartilage Repair Society, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America and the Oregon Athletic Association Medical Aspects of Sports Committee.
