Director, Pediatric Thrombosis
Dr. Haley provides care for children with the full range of hematology and oncology diagnoses. Her clinical focus, though, is specifically in bleeding and clotting disorders. She is experienced in the multi-faceted diagnostic algorithm of bleeding diatheses as well as the varied treatment of patients with hemophilia, von willebrand’s, platelet dysfunction and other bleeding disorders. Further, Dr. Haley is establishing clinical trials in pediatric thrombosis at OHSU to help guide the work-up and treatment of thrombophilia in pediatrics. Dr. Haley is working to further delineate platelet function in the neonatal population with the ultimate aim of creating specific transfusion guidelines in this population.
