Congratulations to the 112 Biomedical Informatics Graduates of 2013!
As the OHSU School of Medicine held its commencement ceremony on Monday, June 3, 2013 in Portland, the Department of Medical Informatics & Clinical Epidemiology celebrated a record number of graduates in its programs this year – 112.
In the 2012-13 academic year, 72 students received the graduate certificate in biomedical informatics. Five students received a master of science in biomedical informatics while 32 students received a master of biomedical informatics degree. Finally, Kyle Ambert, David Gibbs and James “Zephy” McKanna received their Doctor of Philosophy degree.
With 514 graduates in the School of Medicine this year, DMICE students comprise 21.7% of the total graduates, exceeded only by the 118 students receiving MD degrees.
