End of an era and the search for a new Chair of Diagnostic Radiology
After 19 years of superb leadership, Frederick Keller, MD, stepped down as Chair of Diagnostic Radiology. His leadership guided the department to exceptionally high levels in imaging and academics. We remain grateful for his time as chair.
Diagnostic Radiology is equally fortunate to have Steven Primack, MD as interim chair. For the past ten years, Dr. Primack held the position of Vice-Chair of the department. Supporting OHSU’s mission of interdisciplinary healthcare is an integral part of Dr. Primack’s leadership philosophy. He hopes to improve the level of service excellence even further while also increasing the department’s efforts at collaborative, multidisciplinary pursuits at OHSU.
Meanwhile, the Department of Diagnostic Radiology waits in suspense for the announcement of the new Chair, which is slated to take place in late fall of 2011. Thank you to the chair search committee for their time and efforts. If you would like to read more follow the links to SOM’s announcements.
