Next offered: Spring 2017

Course director: A. Ryabinin

The main goal of this course is to introduce students experienced in behavioral neurosciences to molecular methodology. After taking the course, the students are expected to improve on their ability to understand research papers using molecular techniques, understand what the experimental procedures the authors used, why they have used them, the advantages and caveats of these procedures, alternative strategies that authors could take to address similar research questions, and get introduced to novel molecular methodologies.
