Practice Description:  Over the past 20 years, The Oregon Clinic has grown from a small group of six medical practices with forty physicians, to one of the largest specialty medicine practices in the country. Duties & Responsibilities: Physician Assistant needed to join a team-oriented, busy Neurosurgery practice in Portland, Oregon. Practice currently consists of 8 physicians and 6 Physician Assistants. The PA will assist in procedures, surgeries and hospital rounds. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience & Qualifications Required or Preferred:  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and either licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Oregon. • One to two years of experience as a Physician Assistant in Neurosurgery or surgical skills welcomed; however, motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply. • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, hospital and office staff, patients and their families. • Skill in evaluating and revising care plan based on patient changes. 7/15/14  Family Medicine & Pain Management (Salem, OR)

Practice Description:  Current practice size – 1 physician. Seeking a Family Medicine physician assistant to join their very busy practice. The clinic offers comprehensive care to people of all ages, providing a full spectrum practice in family medicine. The practice is balanced and diversified, treating newborns through geriatrics. User-friendly EMR, in-house lab. Staff is friendly and supportive. The practice is most interested in someone with friendly and caring demeanor, a desire for a long-term commitment and a sincere dedication to providing the highest quality of medical care through a genuine team effort.

Duties & Responsibilities: Full-time position, 4 days a week. A PA would participate in the management of chronic disease, acute care, minor injuries, dermatology, psychiatry, and basic pain management, congruent with training and competence. Call – telephone only. Very light and consists of only periodic back-up cover for physician as requested, never more than 1 weekend every 2 months, and 1 week night every 1 -2 months. Excellent accommodations in a beautiful, new facility that offers private office space for a PA. Build up to seeing ~ 25 pts a day.
