7/19/18  Vascular/General Surgery (Springfield, OR)

Practice Description:  Summit Surgical Specialists is looking to add another PA to its growing vascular practice. Vascular practice would include one surgeon and two PAs. Dr. Viramontes is an experienced and highly respected vascular surgeon who has been in the community for 11 years. Working directly with one surgeon is highly rewarding with endless opportunities for growth and learning.

Duties & Responsibilities:  Duties include clinic, hospital rounding, OR first assisting on open and endovascular surgical procedures, and office varicose vein procedures which are performed semi-independently. Call does include some general surgery coverage (1 weekend every other month). Call responsibilities are rarely taxing as our hospital affiliate is a 113-bed, Level 3 Trauma Center.

Practice Description:  Receiving funding under numerous grants has allowed the Columbia River Health to stabilize local medical services and to greatly increase services to the greater Boardman area population, migrant/seasonal farm workers, refugees, and low-income populations.

Duties & Responsibilities:  Provides primary health care services. Assesses, diagnoses, implements treatment, evaluates and monitors patients' health status. Performs complete physical examinations. Orders routine and diagnostic lab and x-ray studies according to standing orders. Diagnoses acute and chronic illness on the basis of clinical findings, laboratory and x-ray reports and/or the results of other diagnostic procedures according to approved protocols. Refers patients requiring hospitalization or assessment and management of conditions to supervising physicians or appropriate specialist. Follows patient’s progress with physician. Practice Description:  The Gastroenterology East division of The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our clinics located in the Gateway area of NE Portland. The clinic includes 60 providers treating colon cancer, Crohn's, colitis, heartburn and other digestive-related diseases. The Oregon Clinic serves patients throughout the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area and beyond with more than 250 providers spanning over 30 specialties.

Practice Description:  Physician assistant position now available for training; position begins in June.  Endocrinologist office located near Salem Hospital has a full-time position available in a small to medium office setting.
