Oregon SARS-CoV-2 Genome Sequencing Center

The SARS-CoV-2 Genome Sequencing Center at OHSU is co-lead by Drs. Brian O’Roak (MMG), Andrew Adey (MMG), and Ben Bimber (VGTI/ONPRC), in collaboration with Dr. Bill Messer (MMI) and Dr. Dan Streblow (VGTI). We work closely with our colleagues in the OHSU Pathology COVID-19 testing lab lead by Drs. Donna Hansel and Xuan Qin to sequence residual viral RNA clinical samples. We also work closely with the Multnomah County Health Department, Communicable Disease Services team and the Oregon State Public Health Lab. We have stopped taking samples as of the end of 2022, but you can contact us about our findings at covidseq@ohsu.edu.
