Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  12. Dr Clayton is very thorough in her exam. That gives me confidence in her finding issues before they are to far advanced. I also admire her and OHSU for training future dermatologists

  13. Excellent all around. Proficient in their practice, friendly and candid in their interaction with me.

  14. I have always gotten good care from Lara Clayton - my only concern was how quickly the exam took. I have had other dermatologists that took more time examining my body, but perhaps that was at a time when I had more dermatological concerns. Not sure. Overall very good experience.

  15. The service was excellent as always. Thank you so much.

  16. Very knowledgeable and professional

  17. She did not explain why she recommended an in person visit, but then spent very little time examining the lesion in question. Her manner was not particularly friendly, and seemed quite cold. Overall, I would have preferred to see a medical doctor.

  18. Great

  20. Excellent.

  21. Very knowledgeable and caring. Addressed my concerns to my satisfaction.

  22. She is caring and wonderful

  23. My Clinician is Amazing!!! I just wish the medical assistants would read instructions, on MyChart, regarding men. I put up with him, as I thought that was my only option, until I had Lara look at a Very Private area then a lady medical assistant came in, and She is Amazing too (as I've had her on previous visits).

  24. She's excellent. Thorough. Takes time when other dermatologists spent max 5 mins. Pleasant. Knowledgeable. Shares what she sees.

  25. Very pleasant

  26. Very friendly and easy to talk to

  27. Very personable

  28. Pleasant experience all around. The nurse tech and doctor spend sufficient time with me. I did not feel rushed. Very good personal interaction.
