About me

Dr. Hancey currently serves as the director of the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Clinic at OHSU. His special interests are in anxiety disorder, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder. He earned his medical degree in 1986 from OHSU, which is also where he completed his psychiatry residency.

He's super responsive when I ask questions outside of appointments, and is always kind. He's excellent about verifying dates, etc before we leave the appointment, too.

I've had the most fortunate of experiences, in trusting Dr.Hancey, especially given that I am a very complicated patientwith a very long history of several diseases. My health resulted in needing to leave my career as a Critical Care Nurse in 2012. Thus, I am so grateful to have this provider as part of my team over these many years now. Dr.Hancey is brilliant in my opinion. I greatly appreciate his role in my healthcare.
