About me

Dr. David Huang is the Associate Director and Director of Research of Casey Eye Institute, and the Peterson Professor of Ophthalmology and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). 

Dr. Huang's clinical research interests are:

Refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK); complex intraocular lens calculations for cataract surgery after previous LASIK, PRK, or RK; phototherapeutic keratectomy (PTK) for corneal scars and dystrophies; phototherapeutic keratectomy (PTK) for corneal scars and dystrophies; corneal collagen crosslinking (CXL) for keratoconus and post-LASIK ectasia; corneal allogeneic intrastromal ring segment (CAIRS) implantation for keratoconus; optical coherence tomography (OCT) in the diagnosis of eye diseases and planning of eye surgeries.
