About me

Dr. Amani Politano is a vascular surgeon and associate professor of surgery in the Division of Vascular Surgery in the OHSU School of Medicine.  Her clinical interests include treatment of arterial and venous disorders, aortic pathology, and clinical infections.

She currently serves as the Quality Medical Director for Vascular Surgery, and she has authored or co-authored research papers on surgical infections and the effects of health conditions on vascular surgery outcomes. 

Dr. Amani Politano earned her M.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine.  She completed her residency in general surgery, post-doctoral research fellowship, a master's degree in clinical research, an administrative fellowship, and a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia.
