Pathology Translational Research Laboratory

Established in 2007, the Pathology Translational Research Laboratory (PTRL) serves as a resource for molecular test development and validation. New tests for solid tumors, hematologic diseases and infectious diseases are developed or adapted in the PTRL to facilitate translation of observations from research studies into clinical practice. The PTRL is located within the Dept. of Pathology on the first floor of Richard T. Jones Hall, and is equipped to perform molecular testing in accordance with CLIA / CAP guidelines. Drs. Christopher Corless and Richard Press are co-directors of the PTRL.
