Innovation Day will be held on May 9, 2024, as part of OHSU Research Week. The day will feature up-and-coming innovative OHSU technologies, startups and panel discussions on topics of commercialization and entrepreneurship.  The majority of the day's programming will be held virtually, followed by an in-person career panel for early-career members in the afternoon.

Dr. Huang is the director of research at the Casey Eye Institute, and the co-inventor of optical coherence tomography (OCT).  OCT has revolutionized clinical ophthalmology by allowing clinicians to better diagnose and treat multiple eye disorders.  One OCT procedure is now estimated to be performed every second. Join this keynote to hear more about Huang’s incredible journey as serial inventor and startup founder.
