The Administrative Fellowship in Emergency Medicine and concurrent recommended MBA program will develop leadership skills in clinical operations, quality management, service excellence, and general and financial management to prepare candidates for Clinical Director or Operational Management Positions in Community Hospitals.
Community Emergency Departments have a continuous need of residency-trained, board certified, emergency physicians to fill both clinical and leadership roles.
To develop leadership skills of future emergency department medical directors through practical experiences at OHSU in clinical operations, quality management, service excellence, general management and financial management.
The fellowship would require a two-year commitment to complete the clinical fellowship requirements. However, three years are required to complete the associated MBA program.
