CARY Eclipse fluorescence spectrophotometer
In addition the Core has a CARY Eclipse fluorescence spectrophotometer equipped with capacity for temperature and time spectrum acquisition in 4 cuvettes at multiple wavelengths. The Cary fluorimeter provides the user with superior sensitive data collection, with enhanced sampling capabilities and excellent reliability. Together these instruments offer users:
- A unique uncompromised combination of filters to provide sensitivity and a monochromator for wavelength flexibility,
- The ability to get rapid absorbance readouts with a high speed monochromator.
- The option of precise temperature control during assay development by using a unique thermoelectric cooling module.
- High sensitivity, uniformity and linearity for assays with unique temperature sensing and correction, plus pre-set filter settings for specific experiments such as measuring the thermodynamics and kinetics of binding, analyzing enzyme activity kinetics, ELISA, Cell-based fluorescence studies and thermo-stability of biologics
- The ability to obtain rapid kinetics using a temperature controlled, with a pneumatic driven RX2000 stopped flow attachment with a dead-time of only 8 ms. The flow cells has dual path lengths of 2 and 10 mm, with per-shot volume of 120 ml.
