HealthSystem Training
The following is a list of required training for research staff working in the OHSU health system.- Ambulatory New Employee Training
Required if job duties occur in ambulatory facilities. - Basic Life Support
Required if performing any clinical assessments or intervention with subjects, initial & every 2 years. - Color Vision Screening
Required of personnel performing urine dipstick, pH determination, or occult blood tests. - Environment of Care Training
Required of all OHSU employees performing work related activities in OHSU Healthsystem facilities. - EPIC Access & Training
- Patient Safety Net (PSN) Training
Required if the study involves OHSU clinical services. - Phlebotomy Training
Required if drawing blood for the first time or if a refresher is needed. - Workplace Violence Prevention and Response
Required of all OHSU employees performing work related activities in the OHSU Healthsystem facilities. - ECG 12-lead
Required initial and annual online training and exam.
