Mary McAweeney, PhD biography
Dr. Mary McAweeney is an Assistant Professor and the Research Director at the Substance Abuse Resources & Disability Issues (SARDI) program at Wright State University in Ohio, which is housed in the School of Medicine in the Department of Community Medicine. She has had numerous consulting positions in the disability field including Washington Research Institute, National Rehabilitation Hospital Research Center, the State of Michigan Education Department, Michigan Rehabilitation Services, and Paralyzed Veterans of America. Dr. McAweeney has worked in various capacities with persons with disabilities for the past 20 years. She is a member of the National Rehabilitation Counseling Association and other various rehabilitation and medical associations.
