Corporate & Foundation Relations: 101

Attendees receive a brief overview of the role of the OHSU Foundation (OHSUF) and specific information related to the Office of Corporate & Foundation Relations (CFR), which works with OHSU researchers, faculty, staff, and research administrators to secure grant funding from private foundations and corporations. Learn how the OHSU Foundation can help with resource development, what services it provides and how, when, and who to work with to make grant administration of private foundation grants more seamless.

This course addresses pre- and post-award functions including all those pesky questions about the Notice of Intent process, President's List, developing relationships with companies and foundations, submitting foundation grants, determining if OHSU or the OHSU Foundation should be the applicant, SPA transfers, grant agreements and much more.  

Audience

This class is suitable for investigators, all levels of research administrators and research support staff working with investigators to submit private grants to foundations and corporations.

Schedule

2 hour class, offered semi-annually.
