Corporate and Foundation Relations

The OHSU Foundation Office of Corporate & Foundation Relations

Corporations and foundations provide millions of dollars in critical support each year for OHSU programs and projects. The OHSU Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that exists to raise philanthropic support for OHSU and to invest and manage gifts responsibly in accordance with donors' wishes.

The OHSU Foundation Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations can help faculty, staff, and students at OHSU when seeking funding from corporations and foundations. We work closely with Research Funding & Development Services to assist the OHSU community in identifying funding opportunities, submitting grants and supporting OHSU's mission.

Corporate & Foundation Relations can help:

  • Assistance during cultivation, preparation, submission and stewardship of proposals to private foundations and corporations in support of major university priorities
  • Provide standard information requested by private foundations for proposal submissions (tax-exempt status, audited financial statements, board lists, budgets, annual reports, etc.)
  • Coordinate site visits with program officers and trustees of private foundations and corporations
  • Manage OHSU Notice of Intent and President's List processes
  • Coordinate the submission and stewardship of Collins Medical Trust proposals
