Loan Forgiveness

Lewis and Clark National Historical Park

Loan forgiveness programs offer tax-free funding for qualified students enrolled in an approved academic programs in exchange for a future service obligation.

Oregon practice sites can apply to participate in Loan Forgiveness programs by filling out a Site Application.

The PCLF was designed to meet workforce needs in rural Oregon for Primary Care Physician, Physician Assistant, Doctor of Nursing Practice, General Surgery and Psychiatry. PCLF awards may cover full tuition and fees, but can not exceed the highest resident tuition rates at the publicly-funded health professional training programs in Oregon.

SHOI gives students the opportunity to make a difference in an underserved community in Oregon by offering full tuition and fees at an approved OHSU medical program in exchange for a service obligation upon graduation.
