Oregon Women's Health Network 2015 Lecture Series

The Oregon Women's Health Network kicked off its 2015 lectures series, themed "Science, Society and Self: Women's Health through the Generations." with the first lecture in the series on March 13. Expert speakers — Kent Thornburg, PhD; Christie Naze, RDN, CDE; and Janne Boone-Heinonen, PhD — discussed "Nutrition and the Impact of the Generations: Epigenetics, Dietary Patterns and Social Determinants." Global Collaboration in Ethiopia

An OHSU team recently returned completed 49 surgical procedures for pelvic organ prolapse in addition to providing educational efforts in family planning and midwifery. This was the first trip in our collaborative relationship with Gimbie Adventist Hospital.
