Biography
Dr. Saxton is an Assistant Professor in the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). Dr. Saxton conducts emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and academic evaluations for children and adolescents. She is also the consulting psychologist to the Cochlear Implant Program. She has also worked in a variety of community, university, school, and hospital based clinics providing services to children and families. Dr. Saxton's research interests include developmental and educational outcomes for children born prematurely, outcomes for children receiving cochlear inplants, children's adjustment to traumatic loss, and the provision of hospital based parental support. In her spare time she enjoys travel, spending time with her family, cooking, and scuba diving.
