"I really enjoy the specialty of Genetics as one that looks at a whole person as well as their family members. As a genetic counselor, helping people by providing important medical information and resources about rarely known genetic disease and addressing how such conditions impact the patient and their family on an emotional level is both personally and professionally rewarding."
