Oregon Sinus Center
The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at OHSU established the Oregon Sinus Center, a comprehensive nasal and sinus care center, in 1997. The Center is directed by Timothy L. Smith, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.S. Dr. Smith joined the Center after serving on the faculty at Vanderbilt Medical Center and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Collaborating with many different specialists at OHSU and in the community, Dr. Smith, Dr. Sautter, and Ms. Wyant manage a wide range of problems afflicting the nose, sinuses and associated structures.
The Oregon Sinus Center collaborates with our division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the Multi-disciplinary Nasal Obstruction Clinic. In this clinic, our facial plastic and reconstrutive surgery providers work with Dr Timothy Smith to diagnose and treat nasal airway blockage or congestion, a very common problem with many people. If you are interested in learning more about our one-of-a-kind clinic, see our Multi-disciplinary Nasal Obstruction Clinic.
In addition to disorders of the nose and sinuses, the Oregon Sinus Center collaborates with our multi-disciplinary skull base surgery team to treat complex tumors of the nose, sinuses, and skull base. To learn more about this skull base surgery team, click here.

The Oregon Sinus Center treats a large variety of sinus disorders. Since we are part of a teaching university, and have access to many kinds of doctors, our patients receive state-of-the-art, multi-disciplinary care. This allows the patient to see the specialists required to treat the specific type of problem, and to know that the care being provided is of the highest quality.
