The Kurre Lab focuses on developing novel strategies for the safe and effective modification of hematopoietic stem cells to treat benign and malignant disease. The lab investigates the biology of viral delivery, the subsequent fate of the modified stem cells and their integration in the microenvironment to understand how modification and long-term function can be optimized.
