Pediatric Dermatology

The Department of Dermatology at OHSU, in conjunction with Doernbecher Children's Hospital, is pleased to be able to offer the Portland-metro area's only board certified pediatric dermatologists. Pediatric dermatology is an emerging specialty that is growing rapidly within pediatrics and dermatology. Pediatric dermatologists are trained to recognize the unique developmental and physiologic aspects of infants, children and adolescents, and design treatment regimens specific to children's developmental and physical needs.
Drs. Alfons L. Krol, Sabra L. Leitenberger and Julianne Mann are the Department of Dermatology's pediatric dermatologists. They specialize in the evaluation and management of dermatologic problems for children, from birth to 18 years of age, and have substantial expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of common conditions like eczema to complex and unusual skin diseases such as hemangiomas, vascular anomalies, genetic disorders and severe atopic dermatitis.
