Parking is free for OHSU's patients, their friends and family members. We even have free valet parking!

Marquam Hill

Most parking is in structures at or near Physicians Pavilion, Kohler Pavilion, Casey Eye Institute, OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, and across from the Emergency Department. Each of these parking areas is marked with a yellow sign with a black "P" (see symbol at right). Need more info? Stop by the Information Booth at the base of Marquam HIll campus on S.W. Center for Health & Healing

If your appointment's at the Center for Health & Healing (CHH), park for free in the CHH garage (directly across S.W. Whitaker from the CHH). An elevator will take you right to the lobby. If you have an appointment the same day on Marquam Hill, you can park in the CHH garage and use the Tram to travel to Marquam Hill.

Other OHSU Locations

OHSU’s neighborhood medical offices (Gabriel Park, Richmond, Scappoose, and Doernbecher Pediatrics – Westside at Bethany Village) have free parking in front of their buildings. Need more info? See OHSU Near You. 

Parking for other visitors

If you're not here as a patient or to visit a patient, you must pay for parking Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Parking meters: $1 per hour (quarters only)
  • Parking lot passes: $10/day, $6/half day.  Passes may be purchased at the base of the Marquam Hill campus.
  • Parking violations: $20 - $250
  • Please note: Parking is free in double or single diamond lots only after 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

RV Parking

Recreational vehicles with reservations may park in designated areas in the parking lot south of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center (CDRC) on Marquam Hill. If you need this type of extended-stay RV parking, contact the OHSU Office of Parking and Transportation at 503 494-8283.

Planning for a baby?

You can park in any patient parking area, but the best ways to get to Labor and Delivery are:

9 am - 10 pm: Use valet parking at the Emergency Dept. main entrance.

10 pm - 5 am: Park on the first floor of the Sam Jackson garage and enter through the Emergency Department.

5 am - 9 pm: Park in Kohler Pavilion. Take the elevator to the 9th floor and follow signs to OHSU Hospital/Admitting.
