Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Welcome to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic. Our faculty, trainees and staff are committed to providing the best treatment for your child. We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of our policies and procedures, and your rights. In addition, we hope to answer any questions you might have regarding the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic.

8:30 A.M. to 5 P.M., Monday through Friday
(closed for lunch, 12 to 1 P.M.)
Services
- Consultation
- Diagnostic evaluation
- Parent guidance (in conjunction with child's therapy)
- Family therapy
- Psychopharmacological evaluation and treatment
- Specialty treatment for mood disorders, anxiety disorders and ADHD
Ancillary Services
Pediatric and neurologic assessments through consultation with Doernbecher's Pediatrics Clinic; and speech and hearing evaluation through the OHSU Child Development and Rehabilitation Center (CDRC). The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic also collaborates with the public school system for other academic evaluations.
Financial Questions
First, call your health insurance group representative to answer any questions you may have regarding your outpatient mental health coverage. If you would like to determine whether your child is eligible for the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) please call the OHSU OHP specialist line at 503 494-1671.
