![]() | John Bissonnette, M.D.Professor, Semi-retired Dr. Bissonnette earned his medical degree from McGill University and completed his residency at John Hopkins Hospital. He was board certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine in 1975 and is currently a Professor at OHSU. His interests are prenatal genetics and fetal structure defects. His laboratory studies center around the control of respiration in the fetus and newborn. Current studies involve a mouse model of Rett Syndrome. He enjoys sculling on the Willamette. |

Brace, Ph.D.Adjunct Professor, Semi-retired Dr. Brace received his Ph.D. from MIchigan State University in 1973 in Chemical Engineering and Physiology and completed a post-doctoral fellowship with Arthur C. Guyton, M.D. at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. For 22 years, he was Professor and Director of Research i the DIvision of Perinatal Medicine, Department of Reproductive Medicine, University of California, San Diego prior to joining the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at OHSU in 2006. Interests include the regulation of amniotic fluid volume and fetal cardiovascular function as well as underwater photography. |
![]() | Cecilia Cheung, Ph.D.Adjunct Professor Dr. Cheung earned her Ph.D. degree at Stanford University in 1975 and was a post-doctoral fellow at UC San Francisco in the Department of Ob/Gyn. She was a professor of reproductive medicine at UC San Diego for 22 years prior to relocation to OHSU. Her interests include endocrine and growth factor regulation of amniotic fluid volume at the cellular and molecular level. She is an avid karate teacher and scuba diver. |
