CAM Research Training

The post-doctoral fellowships are for two years with the possibility of extension depending on the fellow's success and funding availability.

EMG/Neuromuscular

One- or two-year fellowship in EMG/NM disease. The center has a busy neuromuscular/ MDA clinic. The EMG laboratory is well equipped with state-of-art equipment to perform EMG/NCV, autonomic function test, quantitative sensory function test, transcranial magnetic stimulation and kinesiologic studies for movement disorders. The fellow will perform and interpret EMG/NCV (3 half days) and participate in MDA/neuromuscular clinics (3 half days). The fellow will have  the opportunity to customize their training. A two-year Human Investigator Program is available for those who are interested in an academic career.

Neuromuscular 

One-year fellowship in neuromuscular diseases. The center conducts local MDA clinics as well as providing pediatric neuromuscular services at Shriners Hospital. Electrodiagnostic and neuropathology rotations are integral parts of the fellowship.

Two year UCNS-accredited fellowship with clinical training focused on direct bedside patient care incorporating innovative diagnostic and treatment strategies and ample time for elective rotations and research.

Sleep Medicine Fellowship

The fellowship, which is administered through the OHSU Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine, accepts two fellows per academic year from all eligible disciplines with recent graduates coming from pulmonary, critical care, neurology, pediatrics and psychiatry.
