Ralph P. Eccles, MD

Dr. Eccles was raised in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He attended Linfield College becoming a nursing home administrator. Later went to the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific graduating in 1982. He developed a strong interest in Obstetrics as well as Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Eccles completed a fellowship in Women's Health at Phoenix Indian Medical Center. He completed a residency in Family Practice at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio and became Board Certified in 1999. Dr. Eccles completed a fellowship in Diabetes at Children's Hospital in Columbus and served as Medical Director of the Navajo Health Foundation for two years before taking a position at Cascades East Family Practice Center.

Special interests include Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, complications of pregnancy, especially diabetes, endocrinology, especially reproductive and osteoporosis, and medical ethics.

Personal interests include outdoor activities in Oregon's beautiful forests, mountains, lakes and beaches.
