Peggy O'Neill, BA

Peggy received her B.A. in Communications from San Francisco State University and continued working in San Francisco in magazine publishing and non-profit management until a move north to Portland.

She joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2006 after spending 6 years at the Oregon Academy of Family Physicians as Associate Director and Executive Director of the OAFP Foundation.  Peggy is responsible for Volunteer Faculty and the Summer Observership and Rural Family Medicine Experience Programs for medical students.

 
Her particular interests include medical student education and promoting the specialty of Family Medicine.

She enjoys traveling – anywhere, golfing with friends and most of all – spending time with her 3 grown sons.
