James received his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis in 2006 and his M.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Oregon in 2008.
While attending school in Eugene, James contracted with Early Childhood CARES, developing web applications for early intervention and early childhood special education service providers. In 2010, James joined OHSU Family Medicine as an Informatics Web Developer, working on various technical projects for the department.
James is engaged and spends his personal time learning Cantonese, reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, and following various open-source software projects.
