Biography

Judith R. Logan, MD MS, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology. Before coming to OHSU, Dr. Logan attended medical school at the University of Southern California, completed a Family Practice residency at Ventura County Medical Center, and embarked on a career in Emergency Medicine.

In 1998, Dr. Logan changed her career focus to medical informatics upon completion of the MS program at OHSU. She subsequently joined the OHSU Medical Informatics faculty, where she oversees the computer science series and teaches the database course among others. Her research interests center around the secondary use of clinical data for research, with attention on user interfaces, underlying controlled vocabularies, and data structures.
