We are very happy to announce that two Behavioral Neuroscience graduate students, Sami Friedrich and Sydney Weber, have been selected to receive a 2017 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) Fellowship. They were selected based on their demonstrated potential to contribute to strengthening the vitality of the U.S. science and engineering enterprise.

The fellowship includes an annual stipend of $34,000 and an annual cost of education allowance of $12,000 for three years. Awardees are encouraged to take advantage of professional development opportunities offered through the GRFP including Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide (http://www.nsf.gov/grow) and the Graduate Research Internship Program (http://www.nsf.gov/grip).
