The Radiation Therapy Program at OHSU is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).  The JRCERT maintains standards and reviews the program at OHSU for compliance with these standards. It is the only agency recognized by the United States Department of Education for accreditation of radiation therapy programs.

The OHSU 5 year (2011-2015) program effectiveness rates from a total of 44 students are as follows:

1. Examination Pass Rate - 95% (1st attempt)
  • 42/44 OHSU students passed the ARRT national certification exam (1st attempt)
  • 100% total pass rate (>1 attempt)
2. Job Placement Rate - 88% within 12 months of graduation
  • 42/44 graduates actively sought employment in Radiation Therapy
  • 37/42 graduates were employed in Radiation Therapy within 12 months
  • 40 graduates are currently employed in Radiation Therapy from that period
3. Program Completion Rate - 100%
  • 2015 - 9/9 students graduated on time in August 2015
  • 2016- 8/8 students graduated on time in August 2016
  • 2017- 7/7 students are expected to graduate on time in August 2017
