MD/PhD Program is for students committed to both biomedical research and clinical medicine. We provide a program in which students obtain the training needed to excel as both physicians and scientists. Read about the program
Our program offers superb training in a wide range of scientific disciplines and laboratories, and also includes a structured exposure to Clinical and Translational Research through our NIH-funded Clinical Translational Science Award. In addition to four years of study in our MD Program, students may choose to pursue graduate level research training in a variety of fields including Molecular and Cellular Biosciences, Neuroscience, Behavioral Neuroscience, Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology, and Quantitative Biosciences & Biomedical Engineering. Please see our Curriculum page for more information.
For people interested in applying to OHSU's MD/PhD program we have regularly scheduled information sessions. They're two hours long and occur on Wednesdays. Please email Johanna Colgrove, MD/PhD Program coordinator if you're interested in attending one. Space is limited.
