West Campus
OHSU'S West Campus is located in Hillsboro. The West Campus contains the Oregon National Primate Research Center, the Neurological Sciences Institute, the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute, the Institute for Environmental Health and OHSU's Department of Biomedical Engineering's Center for Spoken Language Understanding.

Science and Engineering Programs
The West Campus is home to a number of OHSU centers, institutes and programs, including the Institute for Environmental Health. OHSU's Department of Biomedical Engineering, headquartered at the South Waterfront campus, also retains a footprint on the West Campus with the Center for Spoken Language Understanding. Multiple other OHSU units and small companies call the campus home as well.
Located 12 miles west of downtown Portland in an area known as the Silicon Forest, the West Campus is neighbors include Intel's largest research and development facility, Tektronix, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Planar Systems, FEI Company and hundreds of other technology, medical instrument and scientific device companies.
