Oregon Health & Science University is a Level 1 Trauma center authorized by the Oregon Department of Human Services:
health services, emergency medical services and trauma systems to provide tertiary trauma care.
OHSU is the only academic Level I trauma center in Oregon serving
injured persons throughout Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. OHSU
Hospital and Doernbecher Children's Hospital have provided
exceptional clinical care to injured patients for more than a decade as a
fully designated Level I trauma center.
