The Clinical Trials Office, also called the CTO, assists OHSU investigators and staff who are preparing to conduct industry sponsored clinical trials. We have two main functions:

• We provide Study Start-up Services including budget development, IRB submission, and coordination with OHSU departments to get clinical trials up and running. We also serve as liaison between sponsor companies and investigators.
  
• We are responsible for negotiation of contracts (Clinical Trial Agreements) on behalf of OHSU for industry sponsored clinical trials.

The CTO works in partnership with the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) at OHSU. The Investigator Support and Integration Services (ISIS) program of OCTRI provides study start-up services for non-industry clinical research projects.
