The First Annual Forum on Rural Population Health & Health Equity (Forum) will be held virtually June 12-13, 2024.

The Forum, hosted by the Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH), will focus on population health and health equity topics that impact rural communities and health care organizations. Topics can range the gambit of population health and health equity, from value-based payment models to trauma-informed care to addressing social drivers of health, and more. ORH hopes to host a diverse array of perspectives, programs and strategies to promote community health at this event. View the RFP on the webpage to learn more.

The event will be a space to gather experts, leaders and practitioners from across the health care landscape to share best practices, resources, case studies and innovations focused on enhancing community health from a variety of perspectives. The Forum is aimed toward health care workers and administrators, policymakers, public health officials and anyone invested in promoting community health. Although based in Oregon, ORH encourages submissions from inside and outside the state on topics that describe rural health successes that can be duplicated elsewhere.

  • The deadline to submit proposals is Feb. 15, 2024.
  • Registration will open on March 4, 2024. The registration fee is $95. Scholarships will be available.
  • Please note: the 2024 event will be held virtually and the 2025 event will be held in-person in Seaside, Oregon.
