Off-Campus Access to Library Resources for OHSU registered students, staff, and faculty
You will need an OHSU Library barcode to access the Library's electronic resources from off-campus. This barcode will give you access to Ovid, other databases, electronic books, journals and more.
Obtain a library barcode
- Apply in person with your OHSU ID badge at the OHSU Main Library on the 3rd floor of the BICC building OR
- Apply Online using the Library Barcode Application.
- Already have a library barcode, but have forgotten it? Fill out this form.
Generally, OHSU faculty and staff and enrolled students are eligible to access most Library resources from off-campus. , however, you may be eligible for access to Ovid, which includes MEDLINE, CINAHL, and other databases. To see if you are eligible and/or to sign up, please complete the application form.
- If you are a health professional licensed and practicing in Oregon
If you are on the hospital or medical staff at an Oregon rural hospital, you may use the hospital's institutional account. For more information on institutional accounts, contact Steve Teich at 503-494-3444 or teich@ohsu.edu.
Access electronic resources from off-campus
Use our List of Electronic Resources to identify a desired resource. If a resource is available from off-campus, the annotation will include a link labeled Off-Campus. Click this link and enter your name and library barcode when prompted.For more information
